SMILE\-FX® / Hypodontia Guide

# The care and sources behind this guide

SMILE\-FX® Orthodontic & Clear Aligner Studio publishes this educational guide from one practice in Miramar, Florida\. Its purpose is to make developmental\-absence and space\-planning explanations easier to understand\.

Doctor responsibility comes first

## A clinician\-led conversation, including follow\-ups

Board\-certified orthodontists see every SMILE\-FX® patient, including follow\-up appointments\. Clinical director Dr\. Tracy Miao Liang leads the practice\. That keeps responsibility for assessment and continuing decisions with the orthodontic team\.

The practice provides full\-service orthodontics with a digitally driven clear\-aligner focus\. Your goals and clinical assessment guide the discussion of a proposed appliance; the practice's range does not establish that an aligner is suitable for your hypodontia plan\.

Practice\-confirmed care policies\. [Dr\. Liang's practice biography](<https://www.smile-fx.com/meet-dr-tracy-liang/>) provides first\-party identity context\. No clinical reviewer of this guide or independent current credential verification is claimed\.

## Make the proposed changes easier to discuss

AI\-assisted precision planning supports the orthodontist's work\. Before\-and\-after smile\-preview simulations give a visual reference for discussing proposed changes\. A preview illustrates a plan; it does not promise the result\.

Low\-dose 3D CBCT imaging supports assessment, detection and planning when clinically indicated\. Your clinician determines whether it is appropriate\. Availability does not mean that every visit includes a scan or that it is included in the free consultation\.

## Stay connected through continuing care

Smartphone and iPhone monitoring comes standard with braces and aligner plans\. Sending progress information from home supports clinical review and communication between visits\.

Remote review can flag issues such as broken brackets or aligners that are not tracking\. The clinical team evaluates what needs attention, connecting a flag with a care decision\.

24/7 access to provider support gives you a contact route when a question arises\. Access is distinct from an instant\-response promise; responses follow the clinical team's individual care arrangements\.

## Connect planning with practical care options

SMILE\-FX® makes in\-house 3D\-printed aligners and offers individually arranged same\-day aligner and retainer options\. Local fabrication connects a prescribed plan with practical appliance care\. It does not mean every person or commercial appliance is supplied on the same day\.

Home shipment of course\-correction aligners can support continuing care\. Doctor\-led Rescue aligner care offers a route for people seeking help with a previous aligner course\. Shipping and Rescue arrangements are set individually with the clinical plan\.

Custom 3D\-printed bracket options are separately manufactured off\-site\. Their production is distinct from the practice's local aligner and retainer fabrication, so your appliance and its manufacturing route can be explained clearly\.

## Understand the range and included care

Options include Invisalign®, OrthoFX®, AirFlex™ and night\-time aligner wear\. Your orthodontist selects and prescribes the system and wear instructions for the individual plan\. These names do not establish hypodontia eligibility or a universal night\-only regimen\.

Fixed and removable retainers plus whitening are included at SMILE\-FX®\. These benefits belong in the written proposal and individual prescribed arrangements, alongside active treatment and continuing care\.

At\-home and in\-office whitening options let a separate color goal have its own place in the discussion\. Availability of both does not mean every person receives both; personal arrangements are confirmed individually\.

## The practice facts and article have different jobs

The care model above reflects owner\-confirmed practice policies and first\-party service statements\. Those statements are not independent comparative research\. Technology, monitoring and the appliance range do not establish a treatment result, hypodontia candidacy or a replacement service\.

This guide offers an orthodontic conversation\. It does not establish implant, bridge, extraction, gum or bone services at SMILE\-FX®, a dedicated hypodontia clinic or an arranged referral package\.

An optional next step

## Discuss your orthodontic question in Miramar

SMILE\-FX® offers doctor\-led, full\-service orthodontics with a clear\-aligner focus\. Your assessment determines what is appropriate; this guide does not choose an appliance or offer replacement services\.
